At Data Design Oy ("we", "us", "our") we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and store personal data when you use the inRecipe website at https://inrecipe.ai. inRecipe is a product of Data Design Oy.
Data we collect
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to see how many people visit the site, which pages they view and how fast the pages load. These tools do not set cookies and report only aggregated statistics.
If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data such as the type of device and browser you use, your general location (such as country), the pages you visit and the duration of your visit. Analytics cookies load only after you accept them. If you decline, no Google Analytics data is collected.
If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Leadfeeder to identify the organization a visit comes from. Leadfeeder matches your IP address against a database of business networks and records which pages you view, how long you stay and how you reached the site. Its purpose is to tell us which companies are interested in inRecipe, not to identify you as an individual, and it does not identify visits from home or mobile connections. An IP address is personal data under the GDPR, so Leadfeeder runs only after you accept cookies.
If you request a quick scan through the form on the site, we receive the email address you enter. The form is delivered to us by email through our form provider, Web3Forms. If you book a call through our scheduling provider (Calendly), the booking is handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
The site has no user accounts or comments, so we do not collect personal data in other ways.
Purpose and legal basis for processing
We use aggregated website statistics to improve the site and its performance, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a working website.
The legal basis for Google Analytics, Leadfeeder and other non-essential cookies is your consent, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy rules. We use Leadfeeder data to see which organizations take an interest in inRecipe, so that we can direct our business-to-business marketing and sales. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
When you request a quick scan, book a call or otherwise contact us, we process the details you provide in order to respond to your enquiry, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering it.
Cookies
Strictly necessary storage keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choice. Analytics and visitor-identification cookies (Google Analytics and Leadfeeder) are set only after you accept them. Leadfeeder sets a first-party cookie that recognizes repeat visits from the same browser, so it can attribute them to one visiting organization. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in our cookie banner, change your choice through the cookie settings link and delete cookies through your browser at any time.
Data sharing and transfers
We use a small number of third-party providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting, Web Analytics and Speed Insights), Google (Google Analytics), Dealfront (Leadfeeder), Web3Forms (the quick scan form) and Calendly (booking calls). These providers may process data outside the European Union or European Economic Area, but only under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, in accordance with the GDPR. We do not sell your personal data.
The fonts on the site are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not send your IP address to a font provider.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary. Google Analytics data is kept according to Google's standard retention settings, and Leadfeeder data according to the retention settings on our Dealfront account. Quick scan requests, email and other correspondence are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for our legitimate business records.
Your rights
As a data subject under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to request corrections to inaccurate information and to request deletion of your personal data. You may also have the right to object to the processing of your data or to request a copy of your data in a commonly used format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, in Finland the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.
